The EMX4i is an advanced smart soft starter designed for use with an external bypass. It has a frame size of S4 and an IP00 rating. The current ratings vary depending on the load, with light load at 564 Amp, medium load at 444 Amp, heavy load at 366 Amp and severe load at 299 Amp. The supply voltage range is 1000/1200 Volt, while the control voltage is 110/240 Volt AC. This soft starter offers a wide range of motor control features including constant current and current ramp start, coast to stop and TVR stop, XLR-8 adaptive control starting/stopping, DC brake, soft brake, kickstart, soft trip, jog (forward and reverse) and inside delta (6 wire) control. It also provides motor protection for motor thermistor, current imbalance, under/over current, phase sequence, phase loss and power loss. In terms of management and monitoring capabilities, the EMX4i comes with emergency run mode and run simulation features that include real-time performance graphs. It also has SCR fail power through operation and daily on/off scheduling for simplified management. For enhanced functionality, the EMX4i can support an I/O smart card or a communication expansion card with remote keypad connector. Alternatively, it can be used with a dedicated keypad connector card. Additionally, it features a USB port for easy parameter upload and download along with data logging capabilities.
