The EMX4i is an advanced smart soft starter designed for in-line installation. It features an internal bypass and has a frame size of S1 with an IP20 rating. The current ratings vary depending on the load, with 69 Amp for light, medium and 62 Amp for heavy loads and 48 Amp for severe loads. The supply voltage range is between 200-525 Volt AC, while the control voltage is at 24 Volt AC/DC. The motor control capabilities of the EMX4i include constant current and current ramp start, coast to stop and TVR stop, XLR-8 adaptive control starting/stopping, DC brake, soft brake, kickstart, soft trip, jog (forward and reverse) and inside delta (6 wire) control. This soft starter provides comprehensive motor protection against various issues such as motor thermistor faults, current imbalance, under/over current conditions, phase sequence errors, phase loss and power loss. It also offers emergency run mode and run simulation with real-time performance graphs. For simplified management, the EMX4i features SCR fail power through operation and daily on/off scheduling. Additionally, it can support an I/O smart card or a communication expansion card with a remote keypad connector. Alternatively, it can be used with a dedicated keypad connector card for advanced functionality. To facilitate parameter upload and download processes easily, the EMX4i comes equipped with a USB port and data logging capabilities.
